Duayne & Tiffiny Webster
MY Biggest Obstacle
BECAME MY GREATEST OPPORTUNITY
Between 2014 and 2018, I was a full-time K-8 Administrator by day, worked on my Master’s Degree and Administrative Credential by night, and was pregnant with my third son. I thrived on challenge and was ready for the next step.
Confident and driven, I left my admin role to pursue higher-level positions at local districts. That's when I HIT MY BIGGEST OBSTACLE: 120 resumes, 47 interviews, 10 school districts, four years, —and a global pandemic—later, I still hadn’t secured a new admin position. Despite being a finalist time and time again, I was always the "2nd Choice."
I became manic about applying for positions- we called it being on the "EDJOIN-a-coaster" (Edjoin is the job posting site for Teachers). As soon as I saw a job post I would ferociously spend the next 3 hours customizing the perfect cover letter and uploading my resume and credentials - no ChatGpt back then. I was like a dog with a bone. I couldn't let it go and I was driving my family CrAzY!
Duayne had been trying to convince me to start a business together for years. I loved everything about it—marketing, building websites, learning from online courses—but I wasn’t ready. Until one day, we both reached a breaking point. It was time to let go of the identity I’d clung to. So, I had a good cry, and made the choice to start designing Tiffiny 2.0
Within a year, I had recorded my first podcast episode, sold my Superintendent on the idea of letting me start a podcast for the school, resigned as an employee, formed Tech and Mortar, LLC with Duayne, and become producers of the podcast which was soon named a TOP 10 Charter School Podcast.
I found my true calling.
Today, Duayne & I run TeacherBusiness.com, where we are leading the movement to help Teachers build online businesses (on the side) while still in the classroom so they can make a greater impact, earn more income, and find personal and professional fulfillment—faster and more effectively than they ever thought possible.
I knew I was the common denominator, but i just couldn't figure out why I was missing the mark. And my loving husband would always say. "Tiffiny...You're meant for something else." And he wasn't the only one. I was hearing it from friends, colleagues, and family but...

You don't have to build your business alone... and your shouldn't. We've done the hard work for you so you can save countless late nights and early mornings trying to "figure it out" alone.
As a Teacher/Admin for 25 years... It blows my mind that teachers, with all your talent and qualifications, have so few opportunities to turn your skills into more income... unless you go back to school, earn another credential, and become an administrator. (which most Teachers don't want to do)
So Duayne and I got to thinking...
We became OBSESSED with figuring out a way for Teachers like you to turn your Super-Power, aka specialized knowledge or skills you already have, into a profitable business that would meet the following constraints:
We invested tens of thousands of dollars in online courses and coaching, worked with "the best of the best," and spent thousands of hours testing software and streamlining the process so you don't have to!
P.S. Here's what we discovered...
